A five day guided retreat and painting workshop in the spiritual practice of Icon Writing, is being presented by Iconographer, Kristina Sadley of Prophecy Design Gallery. Each participant will "write" (prayerful painting) an original icon in ancient tradition, using all natural pigments and 24k gold leaf, prayerfully opening the Light of God's Word. The symbolic associations of this multi-layered process will be presented; understanding each step as a personal opportunity and opening to God's image within. All materials will be provided. Previous artistic experience is not necessary, just a heart seeking God.
